What is the competition like?

There are roughly 12,000 Banks and Credit Unions across the US, each holding different assets in various stages of distress. 

While some markets may be more competitive than others, the variety of assets each bank holds provides the opportunity for them to have relationships with several brokers and/or investors. The wider the net you cast (locations, types of assets, etc) the more deals you can find.
